Ted Heath Discography Ted Heath Discography Updated: January 2006 This is largely an improvement in lay-out. I have no further information on personel. There is more information in the records section. Mostly details of further Vocalion releases. There is mention about a number of private recordings and broadcasts. Does anyone have any further details. I would appreciate any further information about these or any other corrections. Fans of Bobby Britton may be interested in the following site: http://www.bobbybritton.com/ This section contains details and personnel of recordings where known These details are correct to the best of my knowledge. However, many of Ted Heath’s albums did not contain details of personnel or recording date. There are many guesses and estimates of recording dates. There will be errors of which I am unaware, (bearing in mind known LPs and suggested single release dates, but until I get better information I will let this stand. I hope anyone who is able to correct or add will send me details and I will amend. There have been some discrepancies in the information accessed from different sources. Again, if you know better or definitely please let me know. I have received a great deal of help in this compilation but it was only started in September 2000. In particular I thank, in alphabetical order, Terry Dove, Gerard BieldermanWally Hawkins, JMG Kagenaar, Bob Murphey. Doug Newlin, Reg Quinn, Barry Radford Andrew Williams and Cliff White. If I have omitted anyone then I offer my apologies. The reason I attempted this was due to the fact that no such work appears to have been completed or likely to be so and talking to a fellow Heath fan about this he said “why not do it yourself”. I thought about this and realized my limitations. However I thought that three quarters of a cake was better than none at all. Before forming his band, Ted Heath recorded with Ambrose and Geraldo. Most of the Decca material was recorded at the Decca Studios, Broadhurst Gardens , Hampstead, London . One of the first appearances of Ted Heath on record is on the Billy Penrose recording of “The Laughing Policeman”.
